Numworx Exam enables teachers to set tests securely online. Pupils and students can even use their own laptop (Windows and Apple) if needed.
Testing with Numworx
Numworx provides a wide range of assessment options. These vary from autonomous tests which students can review themselves, to summative tests which can serve as exams. Numworx goes far further than the standard multiple-choice test. Numworx’s tests employ all the interactive mathematics options available in Numworx Player.
Support for all testing set ups
Numworx Exam works in every testing set up employed by an educational institution. Exam works happily together with the existing network infrastructure, USB-security sticks and Chrome Netbooks. And secure testing on a student owned laptop? Yes. Numworx Exam enables this also by its built-in Safe Exam Browser (SEB), developed by ETH Zurich.
Teachers can link tests which they develop themselves to a class in secure mode. The SEB browser configures the required security settings as soon as the student begins the test. Irrespective of the way the test is distributed!
Adjustable time slots
Naturally, time slots are adjustable, including extra password protection. The Safe Exam Browser ensures that all the device’s functions with no relation to the test are locked down.
Low costs
Numworx Exam offers educational institutions a highly cost-effective digital testing option when used in a Bring Your Own Device scenario. Institutions no longer need to manage and invest in hardware in this case.
